Distillerie Helvia

The distillery is based on the desire to produce spirits that are rooted in their local area, reflecting it and preserving the environment as much as possible.
The ingredients distilled are sourced as close as possible to support local producers, thereby reducing the number of journeys made. Organic, or at least sustainable, farming, wild harvesting and the use of local resources guide the preparation choices.
So there's no lemon peel in the gin, no future rum to look forward to, just bottles that contain the very best that the Ardèche and its surrounding area has to offer.

The distillery uses a 1935 still, fully restored after being condemned to destruction, which travelled around village squares for decades before landing in the Ardèche.
There, thanks to its steam injection system in separate vessels, we produce particularly sweet and aromatic eaux de vie.
Whisky, gin, absinthe and fruit brandies are all combined in the vapours of the still and the patient ageing in casks or glass bottles.
